Growth Marketing Manager

London, England, United Kingdom£42,000Marketing

Job description

Who we are

myota is the new kid on the block. But don’t let this fool you. Gut health is our bread and butter and we have big goals for 2023. We are founded by a team of world-class microbiome researchers, experienced start-up operators, and backed by some of the biggest names in the VC space.

Leveraging our own proprietary research (conducted at Cambridge, MIT and Imperial College), we have created the world’s first patented fibre blends that can help to not only reduce chronic diseases, but also promote overall physical and mental health.

myota launched as a beta in January 2022, so this is an exciting opportunity to join us from the very start of our journey. In doing so, you’ll help us on our mission to prevent and reverse the 1bn cases of chronic disease that exist globally because of poor gut health.

The role

We’re a small team so you will be an integral part of our Growth function. While the science behind myota has been in development for a decade, our D2C business is brand new, so you will be instrumental in helping us deliver on our ambitious plans for the coming year (and beyond!).

We are looking for a digital marketing all-rounder with a passion for growth marketing tactics (not just strategy). This means you are not specialised in any given area just yet, but you are able to work across the entire digital marketing suite (from SEO, to acquisition, to email marketing).

Most importantly though, you will be someone who is passionate about making a positive impact on the world. We truly believe that myota has potential not only to define a category, but help millions of people across the globe live longer and healthier lives.

What you will be doing

  • Reporting into our Head of Growth together you will be working on developing our marketing strategy (both online and offline), and own metrics across customer acquisition, retention and engagement.

  • Responsible for delivering myota’s targets across key performance channels and optimising performance by using best-in-class tools and frameworks to quickly test, learn and iterate. This may include PPC, Paid social, CRM, affiliates as well as new channels. You will be supported by external agencies, where relevant.

  • Help identify new opportunities for growth and launch new channels and campaigns (with a test & learn approach).

  • Responsible for website management, SEO and conversion rate optimisations with a key focus on customer insights, developing customer journeys and ensuring an optimal customer experience at all times.

  • Work on ongoing and ad-hoc data analyses to deliver insights across website analytics, customer journey and long-term value of our customers.

  • Ensure that the myota’s brand is delivering a consistent experience across all online & offline customer touch-points.

What we offer

  • Annual salary of £42,000.

  • The chance to work with the leading microbiome scientists in the gut health field, alongside a passionate team of experienced operators and entrepreneurs.

  • Real responsibility and ownership from day one, so that you can develop new skills that will serve you in this role and beyond.

  • Opportunity to make a real difference in an industry that’s about to take-off.

  • A fun working environment and company culture, where people come first.

  • A central London office, in a vibrant start-up community.

  • Hybrid working.

  • Any equipment you might need to work effectively (laptop, monitor etc).

  • Free myota subscription.

Job requirements

What we’re looking for

  • At least 2+ years experience in a digital marketing / growth role in a D2C environment.

  • Proven track record of successfully managing analytics and campaigns across Google, Facebook, Instagram & TikTok (Linkedin and Twitter would be a plus).

  • High level of confidence using Google Analytics (GA4 would be a plus) and some level of experience with Google Tag Manager.

  • Hands-on experience with website management, as well as running A/B tests and translating them into different CRO initiatives.

  • Good knowledge of CRM (Klaviyo) and setting up best-in-class customer journeys and flows.

  • A knack for numbers, you love diving into data and building clear and concise dashboards that help you monitor performance and report back.

  • Results-driven mentality and ability to quickly pivot and come up with ideas for new things in a disruptive business.

  • A sharp eye for design and ability to create high converting and engaging content and copy (you don’t have to be an expert but knowing how to use Canva, or a similar tool, is expected).

  • Good working knowledge of the latest growth trends and marketing tactics and passion for keeping yourself up-to-date on new tools and technologies.

  • Nice to have’s: you know how to code.

You are…

  • Motivated by the opportunity to help increase the quality of life and health outcomes for millions of people.

  • Excited and energised about building a company from the ground up.

  • Undaunted by working in a dynamic environment with a lot of unknowns.

  • Passion for delivering an exceptional customer experience.

  • Creatively minded, and constantly thinking up new ideas to test out.

  • An entrepreneurial spirit, who is happy to roll up their sleeves and get involved in all aspects of the business (when needed).

  • And last but not least - you'll be an important part of shaping our culture, so mutual spark is a must!
